CELTIC / IRISH RESTAURANTS & PUBS:
Introducing O'Leary's Pub - Located at 153 Mohawk Avenue in Scotia, NY. Look for the Irish Flag opposite the Fire House. O'Leary's is a traditional family run Irish Pub. My noon time visit was one that revealed a friendly place for food and spirits. Their menu is moderately priced with a wide selection from munchies, sandwiches, salads and house favourites including a kids under 12 menu.
The Parting Glass - was established on St. Patrick's Day 1981. This is one of the oldest continuously run pub/restaurants in Saratoga Springs. They regularly present live Traditional Irish and American Folk Music. The music room is also available for daytime business meetings and other catering possibilities. Whether you're in the mood for some exciting games or merely some quality music, The Parting Glass is here for you. ... and if you would like to take a piece of the Parting Glass home with you, please stop by the gift shop.
A place to go is McGeary's Pub - McGeary's Bar and Restaurant In downtown Albany NY, features Live Music four nights a week with Nightly food and Drink Specials Jimmy Buffet nights and Irish music Nights. Many of the Irish Bands perform there songs in this traditional Irish Pub. One Interesting feature is the decor of many photos. Check them out, you many see an OLE Irish ancestor.
