INTRODUCTION:
This is Edward Healy, creator and administrator of The Capital Celtic Network.
Starting out as a Forum for the Irish and Irish-American community the Capital Celtic
Network has expanded to include all things Celtic.
The Capital Celtic Network is a FREE community which desires to share Information and Ideas that will help everyone.
Our goal is to provide FREE Information on Topics that people are involved with everyday in the family, the community,
and the market place.
The Aim of the Capital Celtic Network:
Capital Celtic is an online initiative, creating a space on the Web
for all Celtic, Irish and Irish-American people in the Capital District of New York and worldwide, with several aims:
- to create an online community for Irish-American and Celtic traditions,
and become the Internet site people will think of when they need
information, community news, goods or services.
- to provide schools, businesses, non-profit organizations and families with the
forum and facilities to publish their own material on the Internet.
- to provide our communities, with a free
Internet forum, increasing their opportunities of
gaining employment and encouraging them to keep up with the
digital market force.
- as a service for the Irish-American and Celtic community, to promote the Irish & Celtic traditions and culture.
- to be a forum for information and ideas in the Irish-American and Celtic community.
- Capital Celtic aims to make it possible for people to
come together on the Internet, share resources, information,
business opportunities and home news, and in this way keep to
the fore of today's technology.
