- TRIPLE MALT -
The Mingers' Ball
"An intimate rendering of Scottish and Irish tunes and songs. This fine first outing features Celtic Treasures owner Paul O'Donnell on whistle and harmonica, singer Jeanie Manson and guitarist-singer Russell Manson."
Many musical artists and groups are active in their communities. Some perform before faithful fans on a regular schedule each week or weekend. They are
independent musicians as compared to those music industry big names. We often think of the big name groups because we are exposed to the marketing blitz. I have had the opportunity to hear a number of
independent performers with Capital Celtic. Some are just starting out and are perhaps a little rough around the edges and some are so outstanding I wonder why they have not entered into the "Big Time" music industry. Perhaps you have experienced the same? Perhaps you know of a new artist or group that you believe has talent that would be enjoyed by others? If so send me a CD and Bio and we will feature them on The Capital Celtic Network.
Triple Malt is one independent trio that has such a talent and is taking that big step forward with the publishing of "The Mingers' Ball" their first CD. Some CD's are designed for certain listening
environments. Some have a mood setting that enhances the listening pleasure. Triple Malts' CD is one that has been designed to be enjoyed in most any setting. It could be used as background music while
entertaining dinner guests, working in an office, relaxing with "a cup-o-tea" or traveling in the car. I found the rendition of the
favorite classics a breath of fresh air. On one occasion I closed my eyes and
envisioned sitting on top of one of the high peaks in the Adirondacks soaking up the
fresh air and sunshine. If you are looking for a new and fresh air group I
recommend you check out Triple Malt - The Mingers' Ball".
