I first heard Seven Nations at the IRISH 2000 music and arts festival on September 23^rd. The people, young and old were packed all around and having a wonderful time as this Celtic Rock group raised the roof.

Here their CD titled SEVEN NATIONS will truly rock the house from the starting selection "BIG DOG." Although a Celtic Rock group their CD does not focus completely on "ROCK" but has a wonderful mix with mellow and foot stomping Celtic numbers. If you like Celtic Music you will love SEVEN NATIONS!

From their news release; Seven Nations represents the many aural sides of this culturally diverse powerhouse. Through folk-laden ballads and Celtic-inspired rock/pop tunes, Seven Nations blends traditional American pop/rock guitar, bass and drums with Highland bagpipes, fiddle, and mandolin to weave their distinct musical sound. Says band founder and lead vocalist Kirk McLeod, "We love American rock & roll, but we also love our Celtic roots music. How many bands use bagpipes the way Jimmy Page uses his guitar?"

The CD features the tracks "Big Dog," "Twelve," "God," and a popular cover of The Church's "Under The Milky Way."
