BIO --- Michael Tower plays piano and tin whistle. His new album, "Where go the boats" is a collection of traditional Scottish and Irish tunes on piano, with some whistle and guitar accompaniment. It has sold over 100 copies in the first several months. Michael plays a variety of music, including traditional tunes, instrumentals, and folk/pop songs. Michael lives in Ballston Spa with his wife Meredith and new daughter Delia.
Have you ever sat on a riverbank or along the seashore and watched vessels sail across the waters? Have you ever wondered about the journey they travel, the sunsets they see as they wander the paths of the sea? This CD by Michael Tower is one that will catch you; and if you sit back and wonder, you may
envision such a journey. Perhaps you may find yourself needing a moment of relaxation, perhaps a time to reflect on what is important in the day to day routine.
Where Go The Boats is Michaels first CD and it is a wonderful expression of his talent and sensitivity to the power of music. I highly recommend Where Go The Boats and look forward to more releases for this
independent artist.

Many musical artists and groups are active in their communities. Some perform before faithful fans on a regular schedule each week or weekend. They are independent musicians as compared to those music industry big names. We often think of the big name groups because we are exposed to the marketing blitz. I have had the opportunity to hear a number of independent performers with Capital Celtic. Some are just starting out and are perhaps a little rough around the edges and some are so outstanding I wonder why they have not entered into the "Big Time" music industry. Perhaps you have experienced the same? Perhaps you know of a new artist or group that you believe has talent that would be enjoyed by others? If so send me a CD and Bio and we will feature them on The Capital Celtic Network. - EEHealy
