Capital Celtic is always ready to introduce new and promising
talent. Especially talent that "may not be discovered" as yet.
Larry Meyerhoff is a very skilled performer that has been
playing and teaching traditional Irish music for 20 years.
Larry now lives in the Capital District of New York having traveled
Europe for seven years "busking" in many cities with his mechanical
step-dancing Unicorn called "Widget and the Widgettes." He has
also performed in New Orleans and Boston.
Larry
is a skilled player and teacher of the Hammered Dulcimer, Bouzoukis,
and Bones. His style of playing is taken from the playing of
the old fiddlers and he is one of the few people playing the Tiompan
in the old Irish style.
Capital Celtic recommends this CD "Times Past" and encourages you to
book "Widget and the Widgettes" for your next event or
entertainment venue. The CD cost is $13.00 postage paid.

Many musical artists and groups are active in their communities. Some perform before faithful fans on a regular schedule each week or weekend. They are independent musicians as compared to those music industry big names. We often think of the big name groups because we are exposed to the marketing blitz. I have had the opportunity to hear a number of independent performers with Capital Celtic. Some are just starting out and are perhaps a little rough around the edges and some are so outstanding I wonder why they have not entered into the "Big Time" music industry. Perhaps you have experienced the same? Perhaps you know of a new artist or group that you believe has talent that would be enjoyed by others? If so send me a CD and Bio and we will feature them on The Capital Celtic Network. - EEHealy
