Way back in the days before Elvis, The Beatles and Ricky Nelson I use to listen to an old "tube type" radio late at night. I would string a copper wire across the top of my house and be able to pull in my
favorite station playing Bluegrass from Wheeling, West Virginia.
A unique effect on The KcKrells new CD begins with the same kind of sound, as thought I was pulled back in time. Then with all the toe tapping, foot stomping and hand clapping the air was alive with Bluegrass rhythm enhanced with a traditional Celtic core that pulls you into the celebration.
It is hard to say which song was the best because there is a good mix from The Routine, a run on Bittersweet and Barbed Wire all the way to The Star of Munster and back again to Hit The Ground Running.
