An Open Letter
by EEHealy
It has been some time since the last issue of Local Albany. Since our last issue I have been busy making some background changes to Capital Celtic which hopefully will improve our service.
On April 12th the Local Ireland web site had stopped producing new content. Here is a copy of an e-mail I received as a feature writer for Local Ireland.
"We regret to inform you that Local Ireland ceased to trade and went into liquidation on April 12th last. As a result, the site will not be updated as regulary as before. All jobs at Local Ireland were lost.
Currently we are hoping that the company will be bought by investors and that this venture will be able to continue."
Regards,
Sinead Higgins, Local.ie
I look forward to seeing the return of Local Ireland. Until then, Capital Celtic will try to include new areas for the Irish and Celtic community. In doing so Capital Celtic will need to expand a number of our features.
Over the coming weeks Capital Celtic will add new communities as volunteer writers join our Capital Celtic Team. So if you have an interest and would like to become one of our writers please fill out our Submit Form.
In this ever-changing world of the Internet, I have heard of the demise of so many "Dot Com" sites.
With the "fear" of doom, CapitalCeltic.com has a simple purpose and that is to provide a FREE community FORUM for the Irish and Celtic community.
Capital Celtic is a community supported web site dependent on volunteers. Our goal is to exchange FREE Information on topics that people are involved with everyday in the family, the community, and the market place. Through the interaction of this community, CapitalCeltic.com will be a tool to network the Celtic and Irish community.
As part of our service we will continue to provide our Capital Celtic Newsletter. If you would like your information included in our newsletter and would like to receive this newsletter just sign-up and submit the details about your organization, business or service.
