“For over 5 years the Glengarry Bhoys have been creating the energy that earned
them the label, "the band that prevents you from being still."
As a group, the band has taken 175 years of Celtic music in Canada and raised
the bar to new heights, along with the roof on several occasions. Their blend of
traditional and contemporary music has brought them international acclaim.
The Glengarry Bhoys signature sound fuses the roots of their Glengarry heritage
with the multicultural sounds of modern Celtic and contemporary music.
A Glengarry Bhoys performance is a musical experience which combines modern
technology with a group of talented and engaging individuals crafting a
presentation sure to have an audience dancing in the aisles.
Currently touring with the release of their latest album JUICE the Glengarry
Bhoys have pushed the envelope with this innovative production. This solid
musical platform has allowed the Bhoys a release of their highland emotions to
the rave reviews of audiences, wherever they have traveled.
The recognition achieved by this musically mature band has resulted in sales in
excess of 75,000 CDs as independent releases. With the addition of a major
distribution agreement in the United States and Canada for JUICE the Glengarry
Bhoys are receiving the recognition they deserve.

Capital Celtic Review:
I had the thrill to see the Glengarry Bhoys (from
Glengarry, Canada) live on a number of occasions as they are quite popular in
the Capital District area of New York State.
It is true, you cannot stand still when you are at one of
their live performances. The house really rocks with lively toe tapping and hand
clapping as everyone joins in the moment of good Celtic Rock.
“I'm Alive” begins this CD and sets the stage for an experience. The
Glengarry Bhoys style excites the listener throughout the JUICE CD. My
personal favorites are La Veillée Canadienne Française and Mackenzie
Kate's Lullaby.
I recommend JUICE
and encourage our readers to consider seeing the Glengarry Bhoys
at a Live
performance.

"If these Bhoys don't
get ya' moving then your skin's on way too tight."
On
their newest 2005 CD release, Mountain Road, The Glengarry Bhoys out
of Canada blend the big beat and fat electric sounds of Celtic Rock
with the rich and pretty sounds of traditional acoustic Celtic
music.
The album contains their renditions of some familiar traditional
tunes such as Donald MacGillavry, Star of County Down, Three Love
Song and Barb's Kitchen.
There are also orginal tunes penned by band leader and album's
producer, Graham Wright, those tunes Lexie Wright truly shows
off the band's musicianship and ability to combine the traditional
with the modern. And then there is the love ballad, Over
the Mountain and the rockin' Pick Me Up that not only
showcase great vocals but could be pop hits.
Says Graham, "This album is a culmination of some of our favorite
songs and a great mix of Celtic rock, original and traditional
tunes... a maturity of the band over the past 7 years and quickly
becoming a fhan favorite."
