- Michael DeAngelis -

Son of Dunigan
New Release on October Eve Records
About the Artist:
After performing on Cape Cod and at (and around) the University of New Hampshire
from 1979 to 1984 on the folk/rock bar circuit, Mike returned to upstate New
York and performed in various musical groups. "Hair of the Dog" was formed in
1991 and continues to be a international force on the Irish folk/rock music
scene.
Album Description:
This is Mike's first solo CD effort. "Hair of the Dog's" lead singer mixes
Celtic/folk/rock and bluegrass influences, along with a host of great studio
musicians, and makes it all shine in this twelve song set. Five tours of
Ireland, and fourteen years with the Celtic folk/rock band "Hair of the Dog",
has helped shape the music and lyrics of this fine singer songwriter.
CAPITAL CELTIC REVIEW:
Capital Celtic is always eager to help promote good talent. Michael's solo
CD is well arranged and filled with well written and performed songs.
Michael's mellow voice makes this CD a good one to listen to in just about
any setting. While around home, on the job or on the road this CD will
help pass the time. Capital Celtic recommends Son of Dunigan for any
collection of Celtic/Folk music.

Many musical artists and groups are active in their communities. Some perform before faithful fans on a regular schedule each week or weekend. They are independent musicians as compared to those music industry big names. We often think of the big name groups because we are exposed to the marketing blitz. I have had the opportunity to hear a number of independent performers with Capital Celtic. Some are just starting out and are perhaps a little rough around the edges and some are so outstanding I wonder why they have not entered into the "Big Time" music industry. Perhaps you have experienced the same? Perhaps you know of a new artist or group that you believe has talent that would be enjoyed by others? If so send me a CD and Bio and we will feature them on The Capital Celtic Network. - EEHealy
